My first order of plastic frames was actually a mistake. Instead of returning them, I used them because I was out of wood frames. To my surprise I found that the bees do not propelyze these plastic frames as much as the wood frames therefore making it much easier to lift a frame while inspecting. Be aware that the foundation can't be popped out of this frame. If you need an empty frame for rubber banding cutout comb, you'll need the wood type. I can't comment on long term use .
Not waxed very well
Very good products. Fast delivery and great prices.
I prefer the wood frames, because I've had the plastic frames warp in the past . I ordered these by mistake, but they seem to be good plastic quality.
