Microflora have a positive effect on vitellogenin (fat body) formation (The health of honey bee colony is dependent upon vitellogenin reserves of the nurse bees) Yeasts help synthesize B-vitamins needed for bee health.
Spring Treatment - Mix 3 to 1. Mix 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar with 1 tablespoon of Super DFM - Honey Bee. Spread over the top bars of frames in the brood nest area.
Fall Treatment for overwintered colonies - Mix 3 to 1. Mix 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar with 1 tablespoon of Super DFM - Honey Bee. Spread over the top bars of frames in each section of the brood nest.
Migratory movement - Mix 3 to 1. Mix 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar with 1 tablespoon of Super DFM - Honey Bee and dust the mixture per hive every 4 months.
If you are using conventional treatments, Super DFM is applied two (2) weeks after any treatments for nosema, foulbrood, varroa and two (2) weeks after any essential oil treatment such as lemongrass. Most treatments are antimicrobial and will damage the beneficial bacteria. Store sealed in the mylar bag in a cold, dry environment for up to 5 years.
